Jessica Hayslip grew up in Wetumpka, Ala., outside Montgomery. She graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola with a degree in legal studies and a minor in organizational communication. After graduation, Jessica moved to Birmingham to attend the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Jessica was very involved with the Moot Court, serving on the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board and as an oral advocate for the Moot Court National Team. She was also a Gordon T. Saade Moot Court nalist and graduated in the top of her class in 2016.
Jessica began working at Burke Harvey in 2014 as a law clerk. Since passing both the Alabama and Florida State Bar Exam, she has been practicing ERISA and employment litigation. Because her passion is helping people, Jessica enjoys getting to know her clients and helping them achieve a positive result.
When she’s not busy working or studying for another bar exam, Jessica enjoys running races, especially 5Ks and going on skiing trips with her family.
