Peter Burke Argues to Seventh Circuit in Favor of Class of Consumers

On June 4, 2014, Peter Burke requested that the Seventh Circuit reversed a district court that refused to certify subclasses of consumers that purchased Grove Square Coffee for use in their Keurig machines. Mr. Burke contended that an objective standard of a reasonable consumer was the proper test to determine if Defendants’ packaging and marketing of their product were deceptive or misleading or likely to mislead or deceive a consumer. Once the written opinion of the Seventh Circuit is published it will be posted.
